Welcome to Woodball Association (Singapore) on the Internet. Since the recreational game's inception in the early 1990's by a Taiwanese, Mr.
Weng Meng Hui, it's has grown by leaps and bounds; not only by the numbers of
people playing which has run into tens of thousands in Taiwan alone, it is
played in 22 countries around the world and it has been recognised as a sporting
event by the Asian Olympic Council in 1999.
In-continuation of improving quality, standards and consistency, the
International Woodball Federation has started the first formal international
referee training program in 2003. Many season good players from various
countries participated and they were certified as international referee
official.
The association has within the last few years had successfully introduced the
sport to many people.
